What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on the relationship between the body’s skeletal structure and its function.

Our experienced practitioners use a combination of manual therapy techniques to treat and help prevent a wide range of medical conditions.

Some of these conditions include:

  • Musculoskeletal pain: including back pain, neck pain and joint-related pain. Massage and manipulation techniques are used to improve mobility, reduce pain and enhance the body’s natural ability to heal.
  • Postural issues/correction: improve posture and address issues which can lead to musculoskeletal problems.
  • Sports injuries: prevent and treat sports-related injuries, enhance performance, and promote faster recovery.
  • Digestive issues: alleviate digestive problems by addressing musculoskeletal issues that may contribute to discomfort.
  • Preventive care: gain knowledge to maintain good health and reduce the risk of future problems.
  • Rehabilitation: improve recovery and functional outcomes after surgery or injury.
  • Perinatal care: manage discomfort and pain associated with pregnancy, prepare for labour, delivery and treat any postpartum issues.
